New Year, New Blog Post
Wow, has it really been more than a year since my last post? I guess the dates don’t lie! Here’s what I’ve been up to…
I spent most of 2023 working on my: which I passed in October. I’m not going to dedicate a whole post to it like I did for OSCP because my preparation was more or less the same. It was a great learning experience and compared to OSCP, much more directly applicable to my day-to-day work which is focused heavily on pentesting webapps, often with access to source code and the back-end.
Now, that’s behind me and I do not currently have employer funding for additional certifications. That’s a bit of a bummer but it does free me up to do other things for the forseeable future - I’ve got a backlog of #badgelife to play with, some other hardware hacking projects, and maybe I’ll even do some research, development, or something else interesting that I can share with the world.
Social media has gotten weird and I’m not sure where I fit in to that anymore. Not that I was ever sure where I fit in to that but it’s gotten even harder with all the fragmentation. You can still find me on Mastodon (infosec.exchange) and X. There are links to those in the header. When I make new posts here, I’ll update there. I also have bsky but I don’t see myself using it much. I am not likely to join Threads. This website also emits an RSS feed so feel free to subscribe if you still use an RSS reader.
